Counseling for Women
Treating women with anxiety, depression, and trauma in Louisiana and Florida
Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed with worry or sadness?
Are you contemplating divorce? Have you just gone through a recent breakup or divorce? Having a hard time managing your life? Or, what about dealing with a difficult family member? Any of these reasons, and ones I did not mention, can leave you feeling so alone, like no one understands.
Whatever your circumstances, you’re at a point now where you are starting to feel the toll of anxiety and depression. It could be affecting your home life, your job, relationship with your partner, those you love and your friends. Overall, your mood has been affected and you’re wondering what to do
Counseling can help
It may feel impossible now, but you can find real happiness. You can have a life free from worry and sadness. You can move past this point and live a happy and successful life. And I can help get you there.
Adult therapy helps do three things:
- Identify the root cause of the issues you’re facing and a path to recovery
- Learn ways to express yourself and cope with your emotions in a healthy, productive way
- Build your self-esteem, improve your feelings of self-worth, and have a better understanding of who you are so you can move forward and live a peaceful life
Being totally overwhelmed or anxious and depressed does not have to be your story

FAQ’s
Q: What are adult therapy sessions like?
A: I will email you paperwork to fill out before we meet, either in person or online. Then, I will get you scheduled and we meet for the initial assessment where I gather background information to help determine a diagnosis and we develop a treatment plan together. Sessions consist of talk therapy, skill building and teaching you tangible strategies that you can use immediately to find relief.
Q: How long do you need to be in therapy?
A: It really depends on your needs and what is happening in your life. Sometimes there are specific situations that are causing your issues which calls for a shorter course of treatment. If you have been battling anxiety or depression for a long time, you could expect to go for multiple months.
Q: How do I know if Adult Therapy will work for me?
A: If you are open to making changes, challenging old thought patterns, seeing situations from a different perspective, and receiving feedback, you will begin to feel more empowered, more at peace, and in control of your life. The goal is for you to feel better about yourself and have a better path after your therapy with me.
Q: How do we get started?
A: All you need to do is reach out to me by message, phone call (833-473-3399) or email ([email protected]) and we can set up a free consultation to determine if your needs are something I can help you with. Once we determine that, we will schedule an initial assessment to meet and begin treatment.
Q: What are the costs of counseling sessions?
A: My fees per session are $150 per session and I bill insurance. I take Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and United. If you have a co-pay, you will pay this amount per session. If you have full coverage, you will pay nothing and I will bill insurance for you. If you have not met your deductible, you will pay the full $150 until your deductible is met and your insurance kicks in. If you are paying out of pocket, the price is the full $150 per session.
